Etchings etc was started in 1993 by Garnet, an architect and Wendy, an interior designer, who saw the development of the gallery as an extension of their talents and disciplines, and are able to offer well-sourced and selected pieces, backed up by high quality and inventive framing. In 1999 they won 1st and 9th places in an international box framing competition, sponsored by Supreme Larson-Juhl. Etchings etc has strived to build a reputation for supporting artists, from the well-established, to those entering the market, helping them to develop and promote work to the best of their ability. Etchings etc feel it is of great importance to recognise the effort and talents needed to produce high quality art, and always encourage artists to be inventive and original in their thinking, and use of materials rather than copying the latest trends poorly.   In this way all are able to grow and reap the benefits of high quality pieces. One of the more satisfying moments in the gallery is when an artist is contacted and told that a piece has been sold, and asked if they could supply more work.
